PropertySieve browser extension · last updated 6 July 2026
What we collect
Nothing. PropertySieve has no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no telemetry. The developer receives no data of any kind from the extension.
What the extension stores
Your search criteria, shortlist, rejection list, price history and related notes are stored
by your browser on your device (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your
machine unless you use the Export button, which saves it to a file you control.
Network requests
The extension talks only to the property portal you are browsing (rightmove.co.uk or onthemarket.com), using your existing session, to read listing pages you could open yourself. It makes no requests to any other service, with one opt-in exception: if you enable drive times by entering your own OpenRouteService API key, the extension sends your saved destinations and listing coordinates to api.heigit.org (HeiGIT, Heidelberg) to compute journey times. That feature is off until you add a key, and the computed times are stored only in your browser.
Third parties
No data is sold, shared or transferred to anyone, because none is collected.
